I think Marrone is more worried that the pass rush would destroy us if we didn't use play action to back them off. To me, that's why every deep pass is off play action, because it's slowing down the pass rush just a bit to let the play develop. He's still just hoping we can hit one because it could make a big difference in the game.

Personally I think our gameplans seem to change too much each week. But I'm not a football coach, so I know it's not really for me to say (but I have an internet connection so too bad). Figure out what you are good doing on offense and spend more time doing that. Use creative playcalling to make sure you're not overly predictable.
