Key quote from Shafer in there about Hunt-He was able to make positive plays out of missed assignments. There will be missed assignments w/ new QBs. The question is-Who can still turn them into positive plays?

Allen will be starting and if I were to guess, will play the majority of the game.

And I don't think I'm the only one that is a bit disappointed.

I dont get people who complain because Allen threw some picks but completed almost 70% but Hunt played 7-8 plays messed up 1-2 throws and messed up the play call on 2 others.. If half the time hunt cant get in the correct play he wont be escaping enough to make a difference.. if the 2 allen picks that were not really his fault go away it was a pretty good game.

And I thought Hunt played well and perhaps deserves some time with the 1's to show more but you need to let Allen play it out. if you dump him now, his confidence is shot and you are left with Hunt. If Allen plays solid this week and Hunt does too thats a good thing not a bad thing. If Allen plays poorly that will be the end of the experiment either way..
