Absolutely. Just putting it off a year.

It's a results oriented business and I don't see Scott coming through with any results next year. LSU, FSU, Clemson, Louisville...good luck! Aside from Rhode Island and Central Michigan at home you can make case Syracuse will be under-dogs in every other game. (except maybe Wake which could be an "even" line)

I know. There's zero chance we'd change after 2 years. But eventually this bad decision will be ended. And when it does I really hope we don't go defense again. Doubt we'd be that stupid.

No problem with a defensive minded head coach. I actually like having a hard-hitting, attacking defense. But you have to find a mature OC with good judgment and field competent special teams. That would make us all happy.

schedule isn't tougher. OOC schedule is about the same(uSF is easier then UM while LSU is Harder than ND) Conference schedule is easier with pitt and bc at home. @ Virginia about the same as home vs decent duke team. Clemson and Fsu are the same. LB core will take a hit but that is 1 area we have enough depth to overcome. secondary can't be much worse with new players out there. Crume is a loss but were ok at DT.Welsh and Robinson are JAG de's
