That podcast I linked discussed the future coach and what might happen.

Jeff Brohm has a younger brother (Brian Brohm) who is the current Purdue OC.

The podcast guys thought if Brohm the younger was not named the interim coach for the bowl game, O'Connell and Jones would not play.

He was named the interim coach but maybe those guys were mad he was not named the new HC. So they are sitting it out anyway.

Look for Brian Brohm to be announced as the new UL OC shortly after the Purdue bowl game ends.

Walters may turn out fine, but I thought they should have hired Jason Candle from Toledo, that guy should be a P5 coach by now, and Purdue would have been a great fit
