Put on ESPN radio, head of committe of NCAA coming on

He basically said we'll take boeheims absence into consideration, just like a team missing a player

Yeah - that's dumb.

A loss to St. John's hurts way more than a loss to UNC at UNC.

If it evens out we should be safely in since we have more top 50 and 100 wins than many other bubble teams

with JB we win at a minimum the St Johns game that alone puts us in the dance

This is total speculation. That St. John's game had to be a combination of about twenty 1-in-1000 things happening. That outcome was, of course, statistically plausible, but in the same way that it is statistically plausible for a asteroid to be about to hit the earth and wipe out civilization, only to be hit by another asteroid right before impact. So in that situation, how could we assume anything about what Boeheim's presence would change about that game?

going to talk cuse chances

For the first time ever, I find myself somewhat agnostic about Cuse getting in. I am not sure why, I think largely because with only 3 capable players at present, this team has gone from really fun to watch w/relatively high ceiling to really not so fun to watch with low ceiling. For whatever reason, I've not read a thing about SU's chances and, while I hope they get in, do not expect to be pissed or to let it take away from the tournament. In past years I could barely watch the first weekend if SU was not in. I remain pumped for next year but the fuel tank for this year is running on empty.
