Moore played the first drive of the 3rd quarter and Novosad got the second. He was 1 for 2 with a 40 yard pass. He didn't throw a pass after that in any game and I don't believe he played in any other game after that.  So he was Oregon's second string QB last season but got injured early with a lat injury.

That to me means he is even more likely to be good and also gives him the possibility of 3 more years at QB if he were to get a medical redshirt, which could be possible.  That is so far away that it doesn't matter a lot but could keep him from bolting earlier or if he works out well as the answer that is another year he is available to play for us. Who knows.

No we don't have much in the way of college snaps to judge him by as he only has thrown 12 passes but I think Novosad could be solid and is less risky than many think.  Certainly not a player i would want to put all my chips in with, like we almost did with Rickie last year. But he would be a good option in my opinion with our current situation.
