[QUOTE="CbusCuse, post: 4690779, member: 507"] Exactly. He often made the scramble drill plays look easy peasy. And every throw was directly on the money in stride etc. you didn’t see receivers needing to make major adjustments for balls or go up and get a jump ball. Those things along with good vision and anticipation lead to his impressive accuracy numbers. 76% is ridiculous and he threw for 14 yds per completion to boot. Kid looks legit in all the most important areas. He Just seems to play with great awareness, control and confidence on the field. And he backs all that up with impressive athleticism, height and a frame that should be able to put on some more muscle. Kid has offers from Dartmouth, Yale and Colgate so you know he’s smart. My only critique of him is his arm strength which looks mediocre at least in regards to him throwing the long ball. I typically take note of how far I see a pass travel in the air. I didn’t see him throw one in the air more than 40 yards which is certainly on the low end for QB’s we recruit. That being said all of his throws had decent pace on them. And of all of the QB qualities to lack I think not having a rifle arm is the least concerning. I was a little disappointed we were unable to land any big fishes at the QB position thus far this cycle as I feel like we have a lot to offer a QB in this class depth wise considering we have a senior leaving and not too many threatening young arms. This kid is certainly flying under the radar and I definitely love this pick up. Getting a QB who appears to have similar athleticism and pocket awareness to Dungey and Shrader but also appears to be even more accurate is pretty awesome. Happy to have him aboard. Welcome Brendan!
