PERSONAL STATEMENT
Being named captain and starting quarterback of FBU Team Indiana was, and still is the highlight of my football career. However, I think that I have grown the most on my school team, when we lost in the semi-finals of the city tournament. This allowed me to see that we were not unstoppable, and that my team and I still have work to be done to get better. Through my career I have learned the importance of leadership, teamwork, and being a hard worker. Being a multi- sport athlete and team captain has given me many experiences that have helped me grow as an athlete. Baseball has helped me to see the importance of courage and determination, while basketball has taught me the importance of true teamwork. I am looking for a college program that will give me a good education, and be a good fit for me athletically as well. I believe that I should have the chance to compete for a spot on a college team because I believe I have the talent, work-ethic, and leadership skills that can make an impact on your program. As a five-time captain and starter, I believe I have what it takes to be a leader and great player on your team.
