With AJ, my guess is that the staff probably wanted to redshirt him if possible because he still isn't physically mature - he may be performing well, but at what cost?  If he stays healthy, odds are he's going to be much better as a 5th year senior than a true freshman.  So the staff went with the QB that led the team to a winning season last year, was the MVP of our bowl and has the best handle of the playbook.  I don't think anyone expected Hunt to regress but that's what has happened and by the 3rd or 4th game of the season it was pretty obvious.  Was that solely on him, a result of McDonald struggling to call plays, a little bit of both?  I'm not sure.  There are a lot of moving parts here.
