We had a woman's soccer player a few years ago use that word among others when she was drunk and it was caught on video. She was thrown off the team and has lost jobs over that video for years now.  Just so happens, I have known the girl since she was a child. Her dad and I went to high school together.  She never used words like that until she went to Syracuse where she was dating a black football player and hung around his teammates where that word was thrown around on a regular basis.  All I am saying is that knowing the kid and the background are important.  This kid could be a shady kid and we are better off walking away.  On the other hand, he may be a good kid that said something stupid.
