We've seen him do the things we want to see - get passes out quick, complete bombs, scramble for yardage, just not consistently. The big things for him I think are 1) can he consistently make the quick read and get the ball out to move the chains and protect himself and 2) can be get better at improvising a pass when protection breaks down. That second one requires the WRs to be more alert and helpful too.

I don't think he's far from being big time. We do need him to improve. I think he will. But I also think he will have more help. Between Tucker and Lutz, we've got something at running back. Jordan can fit a lot of places, and he's a guy that can make a 5 yard pass go the distance. At some point we'll figure out how to use Benson. Our WRs are ok, but I think we need a little more from them. Assuming the line can shape up and we can get back to putting defenses on their heels, I think we can be dangerous again.
