They did a quad walk thing during GRob's days, and that went well, so why not do it again?
If this did happen does anyone know about what time? I am taking my son to his first SU game and we are getting there early to do the whole quad thing. I bet he would love this.
Why not do it again? Because they did it during Groober's days. That's enough reason not to do it again. That tradition needs to be buried... deep!
You'd have to have fans at the game for it to work.Apparently the team is starting to think about doing this. Wonder how it would go over? Could start this week.
I remember a quad walk during GRob's tenure. It might have been during the first game, against WV, don't recall the specifics. But I remember thinking how short the team looked at that time, as they walked past. It was a shock. Obviously I think we are in better shape now. Back then, we had almost no one who passed the "getting off the bus" look test.Apparently the team is starting to think about doing this. Wonder how it would go over? Could start this week.
What I recall is that most players had their game faces on and were listening to their Ipods as they walked thru. Little to no interaction with the gathered fans. I don't have a problem with that if the players just want to get focused for the game, but it kinda defeats the purpose of doing the walk in the first place. If this year's players want to take more of a role in psyching up the crowd, I'd say to go ahead and resume them. But not if it's someone elses idea that breaks up their routine with a forced dog and pony show march.I remember a quad walk during GRob's tenure.
