Kid needs his own thread. I know he didn’t get much run but the energy he brings is fantastic. Always the one cheering on the bench. During the last timeout he grabbed the water bottles and handed them out to the team. That says a lot to me about what a team player he is. I’ll be rooting my tail off for that kid to succeed.

I would have liked to see him at guard with Judah. They are both good ball handlers and could break their guys down. Joe had no shot of doing anything. At the end, I believe St. Johns kept rotating guys on Judah and just beat the hell out of him. I think Copeland could have had some success in getting past his man and take the load off of Judah.

Love everything about what he is doing on the bench. Some guys can be down if they are not getting a ton of playing time. He has been extremely animated on the bench, pumping players up, trying to get them water during timeouts. He cares about winning and is doing whatever he can to develop team building. Love the kids attitude and hopefully it rubs off on the others. Seems like the kids really like each other.

Would have loved seeing some of his toughness out there in the second half.
Yeah, he seems to keep getting forward minutes as a sub to Bell. I get it because of his size. But he's clearly a guard offensively. I'd love to see him in a lineup with Girard and Bell. He's already shown ability driving and dishing to a big, can he drive and kick out?

That could be the future.

Perimeter challenged at this stage of their developmental curves, though.

So... yeah, but how big a problem is that?

Maybe it's a function of the level of team we've played so far, but it doesn't feel like anybody has really packed it in effectively against us.

I noticed that too. He kept motioning for them to give a water bottle to Jesse and then he finally grabbed the water bottles, gave one to Jesse, and then handed out the rest.
"that's some high quality H2O."

I would think that both Judah and Quadir will be working their butts off on their outside shots in the off season. For both of them, their form is decent. I could see either or both ending up serviceable from three point range next year.

He seems pretty calm when he's on the court. Some kids come in off the bench and you can see the nerves. I don't see that with Copeland.
He’s definitely calm but very careless right now. Exciting potential though.

Maybe he can get a cooler full of chipwiches and pass them out after, that would be rather swell.

I’d rather he be pissed he’s not playing over a dude that can’t hit the ocean from a boat for a couple minutes here and there.
