It is hard to always gauge, because as much as we all want stars out of the portal, if depth transfers out, you are sometimes also bringing in depth from the portal, making it more difficult to judge if a player is a dud, or just the depth piece they were brought in to be. I think you make some solid points in your post, but this is an interesting thread to make it in. We cannot hit on every player, and even though this was looked at as big time recruit, is Fran to blame that he may not be? Should we have bailed and let Michigan take him? [/QUOTE]
