The "Derailed" threads are ones created to compile all of the off-topic comments from the player threads in the Recruiting forum. I think 3 or 4 of these threads were created recently. But that's why those ones seem to start from a random spot. The little 'up arrow' next to quoted messages (at the top of the quoted message next to " said:") within a post can also help track a conversation if you come in at the middle or end. Click that arrow and it will take you to the quoted message. If all the messages have quotes from the messages being replied to, you can keep clicking the arrows to track the convo back to the beginning.
