I decided to look back at the play-by-plays. VaTech held the lead longest (about 28 minutes), we were down by as much as 5 in the 2nd half, taking the lead for good with 12 mins left in the 2nd.  Against Stanford, the only team we've been down against both at a meaningful time of the game and by significant score (i.e. more than 3 points), it was 58-51 with 4:51 left (we took the lead for good with 61-60 with 2:56 left).  We were down 24-22 at Providence with 7:39 left in the 1st. Florida was up 49-46 with 9:20 left in the 2nd. Vs NC State we were down 29-27 with 6:31 left in the 1st and were tied at 54 with about 13 mins left in the 2nd. We've really only trailed once in the 2nd half when it's been close to crunch time. Looking at our games without really factoring in early parts of games in which the game didn't end up a blow out, we've only trailed for about 83 minutes of the 800 we've played. I am no math wiz, but even I can tell that's basically being in the lead for nearly 90% of the game.
 
One could certainly argue that we've only played a couple of games that you might feel like it was reasonable to be trailing. This argument would mean more to me if we weren't winning these games with relative ease. To be able to be as consistent as we've been and refusing to play down to the competition the way we typically seem to, I still think it's very impressive even if our schedule has been more favorable to this point than one would have thought. I think the next few games will tell us a lot.
