Sometimes the play is just not happening and you have to just concede it to avoid killing the rest of the drive, particularly when time is of the essence. He has a very hard time doing that. Also makes it far more likely the other team will go for it on 4th Down. A little surprised FSU didn't go for it on 4th and 1 in the end.
