Kids can now make a decent living in college, especially those who might never make the NBA. This might be the hidden "silver lining" to the chaos of player movement with the portal - more players stay in school for four or five years, leading to more mature players on the best teams, not just diaper dandies.  Might improve the quality of the product in the next few years.
