After a bit of a rough start, the team pulled together and executed as they should for the vast majority of 3 quarters.

Things are never as good, or bad, as they seem at first glance. That being said, I'll say the following:

1) We handled a team today that I feel is significantly better than the one we gave a W to last week.
2) We were the more physical team today.
3) Coaching staff deserves credit for getting these guys ready to roll this week.
4) Dungey still needs to settle a bit, but, execution was better today.
5) Strickland does not make the first guy miss often or break tackles. That's not good. The answer at RB is yet to be found.
6) I still believe this team is capable of competing with most of the schedule. Today made me feel much better about that.
7) The defense showed more signs of life today than in any game this season. Including CCSU.
8) I thought J-Mart had a nice showing.
9) Hofrichter is the next in a long and good line of Syracuse P's.
10) We have athletes, contrary to some opinions. But, we will need to execute at a very high clip to hang in some games. Today was a step in the right direction.
11) As talented as R. Pierce is, he needs to get himself under control. Three games in a row he's showed mental weakness.

At the end of the day, I'm impressed at how the team bounced back. Especially with some early game adversity, which could've been used as an excuse to go in the tank. Credit where it's due, I think the staff had a strong gameplan this week and got the team in a position to execute it at a reasonably high level. The needle inches higher North, at least for today.
