12. Syracuse — ‘Cuse is back! The Orange built a 4-3 first-quarter lead at Duke, showcasing an improved level of enthusiasm, singleness of heart and competitive spirit. That early success led to a 15-14 win that featured terrific offense from both schools. Brendan Bomberry and Jamie Trimboli were timely with late goals after Duke had taken the lead. Syracuse shot 15-of-34 including 7-of-13 in the first half. Their lineup is deep with contributors. It was their first win at Duke since 1938 and resuscitates their season.

HHH welcomes the Irish to the Dome at 5 p.m. Saturday on ESPNU.
