What stood out most against the Tar Heels was an improved SU defense. Molloy played well, only gave up one soft goal, and made a handful of gems. Molloy's greatest impact is with his mouth, as a communicator and scheme facilitator. Down-low defenders Mullins and Mellen were excellent on-ball and off and Firman continues to make the gritty plays off the ground. The shorties have been much more solid.
