7. Syracuse — It was a terrific start for the Orange, a 21-4 destruction of Binghamton. Twleve different players scored a goal. FOGOs Danny Varello (15-of-17), Seth Delisle (4-of-6), Nick Martin (3-of-3) and Nate Garlow (2-of-3), combined to give the Orange a severe possession advantage.
Brendon Bomberry tallied five goals and an assist, as Syracuse started the season on a 13-0 run through the first 26:01. Syracuse has won 49 consecutive games when holding its opponent below 10 goals.
