I think all of us knew they could possibly beat us, and while they weren’t as good of a program as us they were a tough program and tough matchup, and many were irritated that the selection committee put a good team and conference rival like that in our path in just the second round. I’m getting the impression that Michigan State fans didn’t have nearly as much respect for a peer program with a hall of fame coach that has owned them head to head and has been a very tough out in March this decade, as they should’ve.
