This guy came out of nowhere and is the best pitcher in baseball right now. I say Timothy Busfield plays him in the movie.

The big thing is the Mets have to score. They couldn't do that against the Yanks, (or the Reds). Even if Dickey is still on, the Yanks might outlast him and get into the Met's bullpen if the Mets can't score, either.
