Unable to jump was what he said on his show. Fab will need to stay off the foul committing. After that its 6-8 on the front court for small ball.SUball

Pretty mixed reports on the injury so far. But, if it is in fact bad ie. he'll be out for multiple games, do we move Rak out of the starting lineup so as to preserve fouls. Fab hasn't really had a problem staying on the court this year other than Providence but we've also had the safety net of Baye to spell him.

I think this is a good observation. If Baye is out for a while, you ought to move Christmas to the bench and start Fair. Saves Xmas from getting silly early fouls.

Wouldnt you start Southy instead on CJ? Need a bit more bulk

I'd like to see Southerland start, if in fact Baye is seriously hurt. Fair is going to get the most minutes regardless, I think it can help a shooter get in a groove to be in the starting line up.

If this is going to be a one or two game thing though, I'm not sure there is any need to mess with the starting line up.

That is one reason I would change the starting lineup. If in fact Keita is down for some time, it would be smart to move XMas to the bench so he can come in when Melo needs a blow and is in foul trouble. Even with Rak only playing the first 2-3 minutes, he always seems to pick up a foul.

I thought Baye was expected to go tomorrow. Have things changed?

Even without jumping all that much a few minutes of Baye sliding while not risking further injury is a plus. He is a very lateral player which we could use against undersized teams like MU.

According to SWC's recap of the coach's show, Boeheim is not optimistic Keita will be able to play tomorrow.

I witnessed him walking ver gingerly during Wednesday night's warm-up sessions at Providence, although the injury didn't really dampen his enthusiasm in cheering on the team from the bench.

This Marquette team is very smart, & they will attack Rak right from the start. It's a wise move to keep him on the bench unless he is needed.
