We must lead the nation every year with passes completed/or nearly completed out of bounds. If the field was five yards wider we would be undefeated ever year. Or maybe we just try to work the boundary too much given what we have.

Changing punters = bad.

I am nonviolent by nature, but Schiano has just about the most punchable face I have ever seen.

If college football is making the Gozillion dollars that everyone says it is, then someone needs to bring some uniformity to officiating. Can’t have 12 conferences with 12 different styles. Maybe just finally have a single organization that handles SEC/ACC/B1G/B12/PAC and see if we can’t elevate the consistency a little bit.

With the fan noise we can create in the Dome, if we ever get this program on track, watch out. We may never lose at home.

If our defense is good, and it is, go for it on 4th and ten from the 40. Even if we fail, we save 2 minutes and while we may lose some field position, the time is probably more valuable. JMO

I try to never, ever throw an individual player under the bus, and I won’t here, so I apologize if it sounds that way. But when a player has a large contingent of family/friends who come to watch him play, that’s great. I love it and respect it. When, however, that group cheers for the failure of their guys’ replacement, I take issue with that. Tells me all I need to know. They are not about SU. They’re only interested in “their guy”. And when said group will not even make an effort to cheer on the defense, well, just don’t bother showing up. Watch from home. Thank you very much

This is unfortunate but not surprising. Assuming we are talking about the same group, I think we've heard similar statements made about this family and friends since he showed up on campus. I've even had a close friend who just so happened to sit a row in front of them at a game a couple years ago said they complained every drive that their son wasn't in and openly told everyone around them that the starter at the time was a fine college player, but would never be able to bring the SU football program to the level their son could. And that the coaches were stunting their son's growth of making to the NFL. I get that parents are there to root on their sons and will have obvious bias, but you'd like to think they want the program to succeed as well. I'm sure some do, but they seem more quiet than the loud ones doing the opposite.

My group usually shifts down the row from 319 over to 320/21.

I have a hard time filtering myself so I avoid the nonsense and try to enjoy the game

Side note. RU represented with a typical 300 or so fans from nearby Jersey. Buttgers going to Buttgers.
