Yesterday morning, I was running a couple of errands in a suburb of Minneapolis. Popped into the post office to mail a package, and was standing in line when the gentleman ahead of me turned around, taking note of my SU gear.
He asked if I was from Syracuse -- confirmed that I was, turned out that he is originally from Utica. He asked if I was a fan of the basketball team, when I told him that I was -- he indicated that his older brother played there back in the 70s.
Turns out, the guy's brother was Dale Shackleford. Pretty random.
