Thought this was kind of random, but Leigh Ross, the SU Softball Coach looks to be dating Dan Dakich. Saw that on twitter.

Who was that sitting courtside?
ESPN college basketball analyst Dan Dakich sat courtside for Syracuse's exhibition against Carleton.

Dakich was in town to see his girlfriend, Leigh Ross, who is Syracuse's softball coach.

Dakich and Ross know each other from their days at Bowling Green State University. Dakich coached at Bowling Green from 1997 to 2007. Ross was an assistant coach at Bowling Green in 1997-98 before becoming the head coach from 1999 to 2006. Ross left Bowling Green to take the head coaching job here at Syracuse.

Dakich fired off a few tweets during the game including this one:

LOL true but I won't begrudge him as I still can't figure out how I scored my wife. This Leigh Ross reminds me a little bit of Jennifer Aniston not alarmingly but certainly there is a resemblance.

He's right but luckily very few teams will be able to emulate Carlton's attack successfully and certainly not for extended stretches.

I figured something was going on with Dakich because he has been on a Syracuse lovefest the last couple years. He mentions the Ugly Duck bar in Manlius and all sorts of Cuse love during broadcasts. I honestly thought he was trying to get on Boeheim's staff at one point he was loving our city so much haha.
