Rank the "True" Transfers

1. Gbinije - Story still incomplete. Will be proven in NBA
2. Leo - King of the triple doubles. Never been equaled.
3. Wes - Best 3 Star recruit we ever snagged, but never played guard.
4. Ellis - Kentucky's loss - our gain
4. Blackwell - Played most team minutes his Sr. year, says it all
5. Lloyd - Played just one year with John Wallace, he was good
6. Cipolla - Also played with John Wallace on S16 team
7. Cole - If I recall, averaged like 1 pt and 1 rb - so put him at the bottom

Gotta add Kristof to the list, I would slot him ahead of Cole. And I agree with Leo at #2 considering he had more games with the team than Wes' 1 year.

Lloyd transferred out so I don't think he counts. Cole is not on any list of decent players. If you need to fillers, add Billy Drew and Mark Cubit.

Agree. The Cuesta College giant:) Mr Hustle all the way. He belongs above Cole.

You are mixing up Michael and Ramel Lloyd. Michael transferred in from somewhere in TX.
Drew and Cubit before Cole? No. Cole played serious minutes, not Drew and Cubit.

It's funny, Leo played on some really mediocre Syracuse teams. Without him JB may have had some of those losing seasons he's always managed to avoid '81-'82 in particular comes to mind. As it stood those teams had 6-8, 7-7 and 9-7 conference records with him. I have never ranked Leo as high as some I guess partly because I don't remember him that well. I remember the teams as being mediocre in between the extreme highs of the late 70s (Louie & Bouie era) and mid to late 80s (Pearl, Coleman & Douglas eras).

I would probably rank them:

1. Wes
2. Leo (because he's done a lot for the program off the court including steering Andy here - and I believe he has some responsibility for Ennis...no?)
3. Blackwell
4. G
5. Ellis

Others aren't worth ranking. Fred Saunders might fall in before some others such as Cole.
saunders was a pretty good player and caused quite a stir when he came from the then powerful Ragin Cajuns. Got us some natl' publicity
