Admittedly I am not an insider so I have frequented these boards for the past 5? years and appreciate all the knowledge ladened posts. I feel my Syracuse knowledge has increased at least 10 fold since I've discovered this oasis in the desert that is the internet. My personality is such that I try and laugh through good times and the tough times (I'm a football fan first) and will go out of my way to try and draw the same response from other posters. Apologies if that ever comes across to any as juvenile as it's not ever my intent to annoy. That being said the things I most enjoy about this board are the personal stories that come out (makes it feel a bit like a family in here at times), the history lessons from those better versed than myself, the insider info not found elsewhere, and the X's and O's discussions that don't eventually disolve into mindless banter. To me wading through all the junk is worthwhile to get to those points, and we need veteran posters like yourself and plenty of others to make sure that history is shared and not lost on the younger generations of posters. The dynamic of this board is truly unique, and although I've only met a few to have faces that match their board handles, I feel as though their are quite a few friendships that have been forged with Syracuse being the bond that ties us all together. I find facebook, twitter, etc. far too interpersonal but I like having this forum where there is a shared respect and discussions can go a wide range of directions. In short, please post more, we need more folks like yourself.
