if we beat pitt id almost rather lose to unc (assuming we're a 100% lock after pitt) than win and be back on the 8/9 line. unless cooney miraculously finds his stroke i dont see us getting out of the 1st weekend anyway, but id give us a little better chance of making a run if we avoid the 1 seed in 2nd round. i think sparty will play themselves into a 1, definitely dont wanna see them. kansas is playing better than anyone. if we're a 10 and have a potential 2 seed 2nd round matchup with oregon or xavier or even oklahoma i think we can beat those teams.

Play in games can be anyhere from 10, 11 or 12 seeds. Usually 11. I still remember the 14 seed play in game a few years back as that was the only they could fit in BYU. Talk about unfair for the 3 seed.

Depends on many factors when you are trying to piece a bracket together.
