Rating our starters compared to past starters

Looks about right. Bench, in total, is also a 2. I find it hard to blame the players. JB has put together a really good MAAC team.

I love their futures and the way both can light it up from 3. But as overall players at this point, I can’t rate them real highly.

2 (Girard could move up after getting force-fed minutes all year; he's obviously got some nice talent)
3 (not too athletic, but he's way better than Cooney)
5 (Hughes is basically a poor man's Lucious Jackson who every couple games goes on a Preston Shumpert tear from outside for a half or so)
3 (could be talked into a 2 for Dolezaj, depending on what weird thing he's done lately)
3 (the Sidibe bashing is insane, some of you have forgotten just how bad certain Syracuse centers have looked as recently as...last season)

Hughes (9 when he goes both half's and 8 when he goes one). (takes his man one on one) decent defense.
Buddy 7 (last 2 games 8)
Dolezaj 6.5 (sometimes 7.5) Hustle a 9.
Girard 5 (will go up as the year goes on).

They all deserve at least a 5 as all these guys are big difference makers- can change the game to give us a W)

Sidibe 3 I love him hes doing his best, but he's more of a fill in than a difference maker 3 out of 4 major conference games.
We have no 6th man.

Im rating them on a scale based on past Syracuse starters.

Most of these guys are not a 5. Most of them are among the weaker starters we’ve had at their positions.

My “5’s” by position would be something like:
PG: Allen Griffin
SG: Kueth Duany
SF: Luke Jackson
PF: Tyler Roberson
C: LeRon Ellis

That team would beat this one pretty easily.
