Let’s take the injuries case by case. Dakota Davis returned to play. He was way of game shape, as expected and had to move into the rotation gradually but by the end of the season, he appeared to be 100%, or very close to it. There should be no concerns about him. Bleich was injured early in the season. Not sure if he was still recovering from the hip surgery he had the previous year or if it was something else but my understanding is that he would have been able to play by mid season had the NCAA done the right thing and allowed it. How they could refused immediately eligibility to any player when it was a free year for everyone is something only the NCAA could do. Still upset with them about that bizarre ruling. Anyway, he should be at 100%, good to go. Probably very hungry to play again. Not 100% sure but I believe Froumy had a standard knee surgery in the spring. I would think he will be okay to participate in spring football but maybe with COVID his PT recovering from the surgery was affected and maybe he will have to avoid contact drills until the fall. In any event, he should be 100% for the fall. Likely close to 100% for the spring. Anthony Red reportedly tore an Achilles tendon before the season. The standard recovery for this injury in the NFL is 11 months. I assume he tore it in preseason camp and should be 100% for preseason camp this August. Airon Servais had, I believe, a severe high ankle sprain that lasted all season because he kept playing on it and re-injuring it. I can’t imagine he will have any lasting problems with that. My guess is that had we had a serviceable OT available, he could have rested for 3 or 4 weeks and played the rest of the season at 100%. But we didn’t have that luxury. Pat Davis was also hurt. Don’t know what his injury was and I am not sure if he is coming back or not. I believe he was expected to return during the season and had a setback. I see no players in this list who we should be concerned about for next season.
