You are correct that we don’t know why exactly he is leaving, which is why many are speculating as to why he is leaving or what the cause may be.

Now, I understand that you are close to him and the family and everyone respects that, but this is open forum to talk and discuss Syracuse athletics and by playing division 1 athletics you put yourself in the limelight and open yourself up for criticism and praise, whether it’s deserved or not. This is especially true when you have a player such as JJ that shows some unique and special skills. While he is not solely playing for “us”. If there was no “us” sports wouldn’t exist. And without discussions in and around sports they wouldn’t exist.

I don’t think anyone on here is purposely trying to disgust you or talk poorly about JJ. Just having open dialogue about him leaving.

now perhaps I missed some negative posts that have since been deleted….but overall I think this has been one of the more healthy discussions on this board.
