You are failing to realize the revenues that are generated from the media organizations - TV, specifically - drive the ridiculous prize monies handed out to these professional athletes. If it is an obligation required by the tour, an athlete needs to take care of the obligation. Period. End of story.

Social media is for the individual, not the tour. They can brand themselves all they want to, and if they want to start their own tour, they can. Or start a tour without media. But you know what the prize money would be for those events? Not much.

Who cares if he needs the media or not? Nobody ever said anything about that. It was said that there shouldn't be misinformation distributed about Jordan. Fine, agreed. But this is a message board - and there are plenty of opinions distributed about any number of topics. If Jordan is really disappointed and frustrated because one poster on a message board said the coach at his former institution wanted to utilize him in one way, and he didn't want to play that way, do you really believe this should create drama in anyone's life? Life is going to be a lot more difficult than that for him over the next 10-60 years, God willing.
