Real shame what has happened to once proud basketball

programs SU, Gtown, Uconn, StJohns, Seton Hall, Pitt. All to help a few football programs. Unavoidable? Maybe but still just unfortunate.

While I’m a cuse football guy, there’s more to the apparent decline than the school’s priortizing of football when it comes to conference alignment.

As frustrated as I've been with SU the past few years, all the programs you've mentioned have also been mediocre since we've joined the ACC.

Given our play against former-BE teams what makes you think that we would be faring any better in a conference with those guys? For the record Marquette, Nova and Providence don't seem to be hurting too much. And St Johns is ranked... tho they lost to depaul so that will change.

This has not much to do with the ACC and more to do with the fact that our program has gotten stale and old.
