They have great CBs and if we have learned anything this year so far, our WRs are not great getting open, even against good CBs.

We haven’t been able to run on them except when Dungey was on the team.  Shrader at QB is going to make it easier to get some holes for him or Tucker.  Garrett has shown he is good at reading when to keep it and when to hand it off, but you can bet Clemson has seen that on film and has been practicing to stop that for the last 2 weeks.

I think they will take away the screen in the flat to Tucker, like everyone else in the ACC has done.  They will play Sean a great deal of attention, even as a receiver.

I expect us to mix it up some.  Lots of runs by Tucker and Shrader.  Some short passes to Tucker and Jackson.  This might be a game Cooper gets targeted a bunch on short routes.  I like a lot of what Gilbert has done with the offense….one quibble is the lack of throws to Benson, especially over the middle or down the sidelines.

We will have man coverage a lot and will surely take a number of cracks at throwing it long.  Hopefully the OL can block long enough for Garrett to get throws off and we can complete a couple.  If we can get a lead, Clemson is in trouble.  It is going to get very loud and you don’t want an inexperienced QB who is struggling to make to deal with the noisiest stadium in the country.

I expect another close, hard fought game that comes down to the end of the game.  Wish we had our bye week last week; we were banged up before Wake and got a lot more banged up during the game, while Clemson had a chance to rest up and heal.
