Really Don't Get all the Dumping on Edsal & Locksley

on this board. If I could trade Shafer & McDonald for Edsal & Locksley, I would do it tomorrow. Plus Edsal is an alum.

These guys all coached at Directional Michigan for a reason. True, Shafer was elsewhere as a DC which is his strength. Out of his league as an HC.

Locksley is who everybody wishes GMC would be (craptastic coach/outstanding recruiter).

And Randy, despite being an alumnus is a doosh.

Yah...I was thinking Locksley was awful as those WRs ran under the well-thrown passes.

I'd love to have a successful Doosh. Being a doosh and being a good coach are not mutually exclusive.

Randy is a lousy person. Start there. I would never want him. Second, he is an average head coach at best. With SS, we don't yet know. One thing that you just can't seem to grasp is that people improve in their jobs. The guy who coaches the pro team in your town got fired form his first gig. The list goes on and on of successful head coachs who took a while to be good.

The way Edsall left UCONN is why I would never want him here. Lose a bowl game go right to the airplane and fly out without giving his team the time of day. Bush league. A man with low character. People are upset with the way Doug left...imagine if you brought Randy here and he had a couple decent years and pulls that stunt like he did at UCONN. SU fans would be livid
