What's happens if shafer gets run out of town? we bring in another guy with little to no experience and we are back to three years ago. We need consistency to move forward. Has shafer made mistakes, yes. But he learns from them every game. Should he have called time out yesterday. Look at our players they were all over the place. The answer is yes he did the right thing. Should he have punted, yes. We are up by a td. Make them go the length of the field. This is basic football 101 stuff. All your complaints aren't valid right now. We are 3-0 and off to our best start in 20 years. Hate to break it to people but urban Meyer type coaches are not coming to Syracuse, never has and never will and find a coach like shafer that lives and breathes everything Syracuse are hard to come by. Get on board on a few years you're going to be glad you did.
