Really solid sports night tonight

I dont think I have ever had a year where I will have seen my first complete NHL game before I watch my first fill NFL game.. Giants sucking has taken the life out of it but freed up sunday afternoons nicely.. If a few more leaves fall I will be able to start watching Bills games..

That Louisville game vs NC State - whew - I think it comes down to can Jackson escape the DL to make the throws vs that secondary? How good is Ville's D?

Toss up!

Bucs/Patriots
NC State/Louisville
MLB playoffs
NHL has started back up

I agree, awesome night but not ready to get into the NHL. wasn't the NHL finals 6 weeks ago?;) that said, awesome baseball/football day highlighted by a 4pm eastern first pitch!

I'd rather watch paint dry than hockey but my remote will get a workout from the other 3 games
i agree. however seeing the game live, particularly ahl is great.
i used to work the beer concession stands back in the syracuse blazers days. the were ehl i think

Kansas City does have a minor league hockey team and I've been told I would enjoy it live if I went. Might just do that one of these days and see if I can get into it at all.

I'll have my eye on all of them. Additionally it's a huge night in my household as I am married to a Peruvian and if they beat Argentina tonight they clinch their first World Cup berth in 36 years. So that will be on the TV with the Yankees game on one tablet and the Bucs/Pats* game on another.

in the blazers days it was just like the movie slapshot. the ahl teams today are very good. syracuse crunch plays well. when they come to allentown pa (not far from my house in bethlehem) i watch them play the lehigh valley phantoms . great little venue, about 10000? maybe.

You might as well go to a boxing match as half of those players audition for being an enforcer and the other half will need to go see the dentist...

ESPN spread a little thin...we get the C Team tonight for ESPN Thursday Night Football.

There is nothing like watching a gome live. Give it a chance. You'll be amazed how good these athletes are

Not like that anymore. Rules changes have pushed the enforcers out. The skill players are now the norm. For the better. Also, no more clutching and grabbing. Opens up the ice. Great for the game

Wake me when the playoffs start. Regular season is a grind, but there's nothing like playoff hockey.
