Let's face it, the kid turned out to be a liar during the prior investigation, while SU and the police need to try and get to the bottom of this thing it just looks terribly contrived to me.  Schwartz' reporting style was very aggressive, and he did use voice inflection to make allegations sound like facts, but let's face it.  If the story is true and he broke it it is a career maker, if it is false he simply goes down in history as another "Yellow Journalist".
