My concern is the lack of self scouting- moving away from tendencies during the bye week. During marrones first year I want to say we crushed a decent Rutgers team in the dome. There was one play that really stood out to me- averian collier ran untouched for a touchdown. It was something that the staff recognized we were doing from a specific formation. So much so that Rutgers did a predictable defensive shift. They then exploited that.

I have never seen the current staff do anything remotely like this. Something simple would be the predictable rpo on first down where we hand off 99.9% of the time for a 1-2 yard gain. I guess because 2nd and 8 is better than 2nd and 10. But I don’t understand why we don’t go nuts and get a te pop pass in there.

I know the o line is an issue. And the true freshman qb. And the receivers. But it’s not like the are setting these guys up for any kind of success
