A couple of questions came up at the end of Tuesday's game. Friends asked me when Cuse last scored 100. That one I knew - December 2012 against Monmouth.
Next was what was the largest margin of victory in Syracuse history? I remember "Beat Siena" week where we scored a record 144 but we gave up 92 in that one. Can't seem to find an online record book with the answer without going year by year. I did find a 60 point win over American U in 1964. Could that be it? SWC75 this question seems to be in your wheelhouse.

In 1945 we beat Oswego Teachers 106-26. I assume Oswego Teachers is Oswego State, but given the point differential it could very well have been a group of teachers from Oswego who threw out an ill advised drunken challenge.

We have also had victory margins of:

78 against Queens in 1950.
64 against Jenner's Prep in 1904.
62 against Toronto in 1950.
61 against St. Lawrence in 1945
60 against American in 1964.

Biggest in the JB era was 57 points against Colgate in 2010.

Worst losses:

39 against Depaul in 2006
34 against Kentucky in 1996
33 against Seton Hall in 1993 (I think this was the BET championship)
32 against Michigan in 1997
29 against Kansas in 2001 (NCCA tournament)

I don't remember any of the wins, but still recall each of the losses except the Michigan one. By the way there is a link to the SU Media Guide on SU's website. It has a terrific Team and Individual records section.
