The 2021 class had their final rankings released last spring right before the season started. They “rank” them by star average on the main page which is why SU is fourth. That benefits teams with smaller classes. Syracuse has by far the most stars with 57. No one else even has 50 and the next closest is Maryland with 46. Virginia has 39. Lastly I’m sure rankings will change by the time they release a final list. They only ranked the top 10 players and haven’t updated the rankings in two years. They normally do a power 100 but didn’t since it was in the midst of Covid. With Syracuse landing seven players in the UA game, there’s no way they don’t have the top ranked class in the country.
