Our peers IMO are the teams we play against and recruit against. A few of those we will never be able to compete against when it comes to facilities (PSU, FSU, Clemson, etc). The rest we need to be close enough that it isn't a significant disadvantage. The fact of the matter is that SU will never be a the top of our peer group in terms of facilities. We will always be near the bottom. If we HAVE to be near the top to get recruits then we might as well give up, because that will never happen. 
 
Also looking at that peer group there are some that are worse then SU. Some that are better. And many that have advantages in some areas but disadvantages in others. As long as our disadvantages are not significant, then we should be fine. IMO the only area that is of concern right now is the locker rooms and lounges. Those IMO are not hard fixes.
 
Facilities are not just an indoor practice facility. It includes where you eat, sleep, train, recover, learn, relax, and play.
