Purdy through the recruiting process does not receive a Syracuse offer, but does pick up offers from Illinois, UCF, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Iowa St. Purdy signs with Iowa St. and is currently their starting quarterback. Took over that job midway through his true freshman year. Amie red shirted his freshman year and transferred out sophomore year. Do not believe he is currently playing college football at any level. Yep recruiting is a lot like gambling at the casino. Sometimes you got to know when to hold them or fold them.
