Many here, including myself, have been critical of the staff for the poor play to start the season. The defense has been worse than anything I have ever seen at the Dome.
In the interest of fairness, though, I think it's worth acknowledging the terrific turn-around the staff has pulled off with high school recruiting. The staff went all in to get Freeman. While he will probably only be here for a year, his commitment sent a powerful signal that the Cuse was a destination for top-tier recruits again.
The perception of Syracuse amongst recruits seems to be rehabilitated, and the 2025 class looks impressive. Congrats to the staff for their great work! They turned things around with high school recruiting much faster than I thought possible.
