The bizarre substitution patterns did not help either, but that's a topic for another post. Another poster mentioned that attacking Pitt right from the start in transition was excellent strategy... I would call it NECESSITY, given our halfcourt struggles.

If Red is retained, he NEEDS to hire a coach for the offense... and ideally someone who can provide him some mentorship. With his strong recruiting, he could really have something cooking if he gets another year and makes this hire. Right now, nobody in the basketball world thinks he's actually coming back.
