Davis and Lampkin seem to be a lot to handle on the boards... For mid major programs.

One benefit of Texas is that Lampkin will have about 50 pounds on their biggest player.  Then they have a bunch of 6'6" - 6'7" guys playing forward, and a ton of quick guards.

Texas's best player so far has been Tre Johnson, 6'6" guard averaging 25 points on 58% shooting of threes, through 3 games.  Carlos guarding a guy that accurate who is 8 inches taller might become hard to watch.  Maybe they put Bell on him, and let Carlos guard their waterbug guards.

Our inside rebounding and size advantage might be enough if we can figure out how to slow down dribble penetration to the rim.  The results haven't been stellar so far, but with Lampkin we can look forward to physical mismatches almost every single game. Texas is no different.
