Analysis

This was expected, but Harris and Howard officially will not redshirt this year. Both have emerged as contributors within their position group since the start of fall camp.

Harris caught a pair of intermediate passes from quarterback Eric Dungey on a critical third-quarter drive. He finished with four receptions for 64 yards.

Howard recorded the first and second rushing touchdowns of his career.

It’s just tough to justify potentially an entire other year for that. Hopefully he will have some run at LB before it’s said and done. If only it were a position if need...

Maybe it’s just to cut his teeth on the speed and physicality of the game so he can step in next year? Idk I don’t worry about it anymore.

Fagan did the same thing last year and this year appears to be redshirting.

Good point. Although if the talent is there I would like to see more of it in field situations- even sub packages

In regards to Wallace, some kids really don't want to redshirt. If I remember correctly Wallace had a few big offers during the recruiting process. Is it possible that he relayed his desire to be on the field this season and the staff agreed to meet his request?

I'm pretty sure that our staff can recruit another LS in time for the 2022 season.

Who is obsessing? I pointed out a fact and one that would have not happened if Keller never got hurt. Do you see me saying in other threads? No you don't and didn't.
